legal issues and lowers from 80guns.com
So my question is this, here in California has anyone had issues with LEO when it comes to your 80% built rifle ie during traffic stops and such? I know many LEO'S don't know the gun laws and even if you fellow all the laws, sometimes issues come up even with store bought firearms. How would you deal with a LEO who doesn't know the laws about home builds?
My second question is, my wife bought me a 80% rifle kit from 80guns.com as a gift without talking g to me first. I found that I don't like there jig, does anyone know if the broken arms jig fits these lowers?

Ive had zero problems. But I know my CA laws very well. And Im very respectful to officers, while never giving up my rights. Ive never had to open the cases for LEO because they're locked. And when asked whats in the cases, I simply respond with "my constitution, and my freedom". Its never went further than that for me.
I always leave the inside of the trigger pocket raw. That way even inexperienced LEO can see the obvious. I have the Broken Arms ATF determination letter, ruler, and a 16" plastic rod in one of my cases at all times.

Not sure about that jig. So many different external shapes on every lower, its hard to know for sure.
