80%→100%

Completed my Broken Arms lower. All I gotta say...LEGIT! The jig is top notch and the depth gauge takes the guess work out of it. However, i did break a 1/8" drill bit in the lower on the first jig plate. But with the help of Mike, who got it out for me while still salvaging the lower, and that was totally my fault. Should have just started the holes,  then remove plate and finish the 1/8" holes. Lesson learned for my next lower.  this was all done on a table top drill press in about 3 hours spread out over a few days.

That looks better than the one I made!!!  Nice pics too!  This just became the official 80 a 100 thread.

Re: 80%→100%

Just received my box with everything I need. I gotta give major props to Mike. Always a pleasure to talk with and was cool enough to accept the funky way I had to pay for it.  This is real quality stuff. The adage 'Good stuff ain't cheap/cheap stuff ain't good" applies. Once everything was in my hot little hands any doubts I had vanished.
Now comes the important question;what to build and how?
The initial idea was to build my 'Hillary' gun. Then I began to wonder just how cheaply I could put a no frills rig together. Do I buy a ready to rock upper,or do I put one together a piece at a time? Maybe a pistol(PSA has an awesome YHM micro railed 7.5" for under $300.00). Decisions, decisions. Looks like I'll be buying a few more lowers to put my ideas to the test
Again,Mike, can't thank you enough and you're a man I don't mind giving my money to.
 Stay tuned....
