Shotgun I was looking at that same buffer tube for the pistol build I'm working on. I'm kind of torn between that one and this one from phase 5 http://phase5wsi.com/hex-2-pistol-buffer-tube-hex-2.html .  I'm planning on using a piston upper so other then looks, the other advantage of the phase 5 is that it has an anti tilt extension that is supposed to help eliminate any carrier tilt. On the negative side though is that it has a shorter oal which leaves a gap in the sig brace. I don't know if I want 3 or so inches of the brace unsupported. I haven't yet gotten a chance to handle a Sig brace. Is it stout enough to not flex like crazy with that gap? Anybody had a chance try out both of these buffer tubes with the Sig brace?

Is the stock too short for you?  Ive been thinking about making a 10" "pistol" and want to use the Sig brace for legal purposes.  Just worried if its too short for my shoulder.
 

Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to me. Lol I was finally able to pick up my upper and finish my first Broken Arms lower based build. Mike your lower is the perfect core from which to start a build. It locks up super tight with the Sig 516 upper I mounted her to. Here are some pics of my precious. LOL
