    ShopSmith Mark V

    I'm curious if anyone has used a ShopSmith for this?

    I have used mine for years as a drill press and had no trouble.  The quill is the same size as most floor presses, and I've had no trouble with wandering bits, but I work mostly in wood, metal is not unfamiliar to me, but it's not my expertise.

    I also have the Mark V, and I see no reason as to why it would not work well for this job.
