    Safety catch spring under grip options

    W/ the rear takedown hole being threaded there's nothing wrong w/ or stopping one from tapping threads into the hole @ the safety catch spring & putting a set screw there so it's done & grips can be changed easily.  If so what size would you recommend ??

    I don't think that would work because the spring is half in the lower, and half in the grip.  A set screw wouldn't allow the spring to do its job.
